Cole isn't actually tied to us in any way; he was bred by Ginger and lived in Texas until the spring of 2008. At that time he came back to Michigan to be shown, and was subsequently returned to Ginger. Because we've been sorely missing having a boy around, Ginger is letting Cole stay with us between shows. Cole has a retirement home lined up once he finishes his championship (he just needs a small major), but for now we're greatly enjoying his visit!
